Sermon Questions: Luke 5:17-26

  1. Is it uncomfortable for you to hear “God became a mammal”? Explain.
  2. Why would the Pharisees be uncomfortable with Jesus saying “Your sins are forgiven”? Do they have a reasonable case?
  3. “Jesus saw their faith”. Explain how faith is visible/tangible and not theoretical.
  4. Which is harder to say “Your sins are forgiven” or “Get up and walk” to a paralyzed man?
  5. Where is our Lord prompting you to ‘rip the roof’ off these days?
