Acts 2:1-21

Questions:

  1. If you’re willing and able, share with the group one of the harder things you’ve gone through in your life and explain how you got through it.
  2. What might it have meant to those travellers to Jerusalem to hear good news in their own language? Can you think of a time when God connected with you in a way that made specific sense to you?
  3. Peter reminded his listeners of various passages from their precious Book. What does it do for your faith that God kept his promise? What promise are you still waiting to be fulfilled?
  4. What comes to mind when you hear the word “repent”? Is there anything specific that you need to repent of today? You can share that with the group or share it with one other person.
  5. Can you think of a friend who doesn’t know Jesus but would benefit from you ’speaking their language’, referencing their books or movies and hearing about how you have had to repent of destructive attitudes and habits over the years?

God give you courage to speak honestly and humbly. Pray with each other for those opportunities.
