When God Builds The House
Psalm 127 reminds us that unless the Lord builds the house, our efforts are in vain. It's a call to trust—learning to rest in God's provision while recognizing that every good gift, including our work, our homes, and our children, ultimately rests in His hands.

Questions:
Psalm 127
- Read Psalm 127 v1 talks about houses we build and cities we protect. What are some things that our culture encourages us to build and/or protect?
- What does it mean to let the Lord build the house or protect the city of our lives? How easy is it for you to trust God with these important things?
- What helps you keep God at the center of your plans and work?
- “Anxious toil” is contrasted with God’s rest in v2. How do you balance rest and work in your life? Are there any changes you may need to more closely align with God’s desire for rest for you?
- How do you interpret v3, which describes children as a heritage from the Lord? What has it looked like for you to trust God with your family?
