Roots | How Salvation Works - Burning The Bridge With God

The Rescue begins! And as God always does, he goes looking for a person to lead the charge, a fallible, often unwilling person. Exodus 3:1-14

Questions:

  1. Was there a time in your life when you felt like God was trying to ‘get your attention’? Tell that story.
  2. “I am the God of your father’. Name a person or two who, because of their faith, has had a deep impact on your faith in Jesus. Describe that impact.
  3. Moses resisted God. “Who am I?” he asked. He tried to disqualify himself because of shame. Where does shame reside in your life these days?
  4. Moses basically said to God, “Who are You?” He lost touch with God years ago and was scrambling to remember names. Was there a season in your life where you felt far from God? Tell that story.
  5. Moses finally agreed to do what God called him to do. Are you living into God’s call on your life? Explain your answer.
