Roots | How Salvation Works - Burning The Bridge With God
The Rescue begins! And as God always does, he goes looking for a person to lead the charge, a fallible, often unwilling person. God chose Moses and picked up on a relationship that God started years ago, when Moses may not have been paying attention. He started paying attention the day that he came across a burning bush that talked!

Exodus 3:1-14
Questions:
- Was there a time in your life when you felt like God was trying to ‘get your attention’? Tell that story.
- “I am the God of your father’. Name a person or two who, because of their faith, has had a deep impact on your faith in Jesus. Describe that impact.
- Moses resisted God. “Who am I?” he asked. He tried to disqualify himself because of shame. Where does shame reside in your life these days?
- Moses basically said to God, “Who are You?” He lost touch with God years ago and was scrambling to remember names. Was there a season in your life where you felt far from God? Tell that story.
- Moses finally agreed to do what God called him to do. Are you living into God’s call on your life? Explain your answer.
