Colossians 1:1-8

Questions:

  1. In what ways have you seen our culture promote flimsy hope or discourage hope?
  2. Paul greets the Colossians with “grace and peace from God our Father” (v2). How easy is it for you to receive this as God’s heart toward you? And how do you reflect that to those around you?
  3. What is the gospel (vv 5-6)? How would you explain it to a spiritually curious friend?
  4. Which of the four aspects of gospel hope resonates most closely with you today? Why?
  5. How does our gospel hope change the way we live? What is God inviting you into this week?
