effect:hope

During December & January, children in our KidZone program on Sunday mornings will focus on a Mission project with effect:hope. Kids will track their giving and decide as a group what items we will purchase for this mission.

effect:hope (The Leprosy Mission Canada) is a Christian mission that that partners with families and their communities to transform the lives of people suffering from leprosy and other diseases of poverty. They do this by curing those who are sick, providing disability support, and restoration to their community.

How can we help? We can raise money to purchase items that help free people from disease. Some examples of these items are:

  • Health care such as surgeries and foot care
  • Supplies such as Antibiotics, bandages
  • Help to start a business
  • A bicycle for transportation
  • Shoes to protect feet

Our Christmas Eve offering will all go to effect:hope . Click here to learn more about this mission.
