Roots | How Salvation Works -How Close Is God?

Exodus 40:34-38

Questions:

  1. Describe a road trip you’ve taken. What memory(s) stand out?
  2. What do you think the moment of “Moses could not enter” looked like? What questions or feelings might the Israelites have had as they watched that happen?
  3. Can you relate to having an ‘ache’ in your life right now? If you’re comfortable, help the group understand where you’re at.
  4. What does it look like for you to ’stay close’ and ’not quit’ these days? Do either of those need to be strengthened?
  5. Does the phrase “Heaven on earth” resonate with you? Why or why not?
