How Not To Talk To Your Friends About Jesus | Jonah 4

What Matters Most To God?

After the most successful speaking event in the history of the world -where the entire city repented - Jonah was still despondent. He had hoped for God to punish his enemies, not forgive them. 1. When was the last time you spoke with an unbeliever about Jesus? How did it go? If your answer is "never," what do you think has held you back?
  2. Jonah finally reveals why he initially fled from God. What was his reasoning, and how does it resonate with you?
  3. God used a plant to show Jonah that he cared more about his own comfort than the lives of thousands. In what ways, if any, might that also be true for you?
  4. The book of Jonah ends with a question, leaving Jonah’s response unknown. This mystery seems intentional. How do you respond to God’s message in the book of Jonah?
