The people of God were rescued from slavery—now what? God doesn’t just free us from darkness; He frees us for a new life. In today’s passage, we see the kind of people and nation God wants Israel to be.

  1. Share a story about a team or company you were part of that was healthy. What made it strong and enjoyable to be part of?
  2. Which of the 10 commandments do you find easiest to obey? Which is the hardest, and why?
  3. Why would God give people rules that He knows they won’t always keep?
  4. Look at verse 20. How do "Don't be afraid" and "the fear of God will be with you" work together?
