Advent 2025: Go | Gabriel Goes To Mary
It's Christmas, and everyone is GOING! For starters, it's Gabriel who goes first to Zechariah (last week) and now to Mary in Nazareth. Christmas has God on the move, and God chose to include humans as key players in the best story ever. Mary’s involvement in this story will prove very costly. Such is the Christian life.

Questions:
Luke 1:26-38
- Tell the story of a good but costly decsion you had to make. What was the cost? What was the outcome?
- Describe how God works in this story (humble vs grand, poor vs rich, scary vs safe…). How have you seen God work in your life?
- V. 31-33 describe who the baby will be: “Jesus”, “Son of the Most High”, "throne of his father David.” Unpack each of those and what difference they make in 2025.
- Mary sees herself accurately: “I am the Lord’s servant,” and she surrenders to God’s plan. Do you see yourself accurately? Have you surrendered ot God’s plan? Explain your answer.
- Gabriel’s conversation with Mary began with a blessing. Is there someone in your life today who needs a blessing?
