For Good | Healthy Church. You. Us. World.
Healthy World.
Acts 17 tells the story of a Christian who spoke in a public setting about the hope Jesus brings. It was a moment to put aside churchy language and use ‘street speak’. Paul encouraged his audience in their search for God and carefully took the time to show where that search had lost it’s way. And then he gave them Jesus, who is the Truth.

Acts 17:16-34
- What ‘gods’ do you see worshipped by the culture around you?
- What evidence can you give for the claim that God put us here on purpose?
- What evidence do you have for the claim that Jesus loves us and wants to be near us?
- When you hear that “Jesus will rule the world with justice,” what do you picture? Is that happening now? Is it still to come? What will it look like?
- The B.L.E.S.S. evangelism model invites us to be ready to Share, just as Paul did in Athens. Where are you getting opportunities to share your hope in Jesus, and what words do you use?
