Message Questions:
- Do you have a story of being shown mercy? A stranger who rescued your pet or helped you change a flat? Share the story.
- The expert of the Law wants to talk about ‘ eternal life’ which he assumes is accessed through the Law. Jesus makes it all about Love. Those two used to be synonymous. What went wrong?
- What reasons would the priest and the Levite have for “ passing by on the other side of the road?”
- Describe the care the Samaritan showed in detail. What stands out to you?
- Make a case for Jesus on the cross being the original Good Samaritan. Compare similarities and differences. Are you convinced?
- What would ‘go and do likewise’ look like in your life these days? What is likely to keep you from following through with that?

Ordinary women and men were now filled with the Spirit of Jesus to continue on the ministry Jesus started.
