Prayer Wednesday

“I remain confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the LORD
In the land of the living.

Wait for the LORD;
Be strong and take heart
And wait for the LORD.

Psalm 27:13-14

This is a day of waiting.

We wait in line, confident that, in time, we’ll be allowed into the store or theatre.
We wait for an appointment, confident that the doctor will show, and we’ll be able to explain our concern.
We wait for the day we can hug again, confident that, in time, our LORD will lift the hardship.

Praying is the experience of laying out the things of our hearts before the LORD and then waiting for Him to respond at just the right time.

What are you waiting for?
Do you have a list?
Why not write them out today?
Keep the list in your Bible or on your fridge or on your home screen.

And then be strong and take heart; our God is good.

The only thing that makes waiting any easier is when others are waiting with you.

I’m waiting with you this day. I’m glad you’re with me in this.

Andrew
