Life can deliver some pretty devastating blows.
When your whole world comes crashing down around you as a result of a major quake in your life... death of a loved one, abandonment by a mate, heart-breaking family problems, sickness, or overpowering circumstances beyond your control, you can hit a pretty deep bottom.
You feel so vulnerable in your aloneness as you struggle to keep afloat in a hostile-seeming universe. You feel so powerless and start to lose faith in life. You may drift into a permanent state of grief, anger or misery.
But, you know, you're wrong about being alone.
Though it may sound incredible, your loving Creator and Friend Jesus is right there...standing at the door of your heart, just waiting for you to look at Him and surrender to His grace. He asks you so kindly "Won't you please offer your life to Me?" - and He offers you salvation, healing and deliverance that will carry you through all the pain and struggle. He is your Higher Power. He is your God whether you know it or not. And He is yours for life. When we choose Him, he chooses us and we become new creations in Him.
Like a loving Father, God's arms long to hold you and heal the broken places. His love is perfect, his heart is kind, he longs to walk with you.
We invite you to St. Paul's, confident that you'll experience the tender compassion of the Heavenly Father.
It is important to fully understand what it means to be born anew. If that is fully understood and experienced, then it is vital to be a part of a smaller group where you can know and be known and gather for more in-depth spiritual growth, such as one of our life groups. This is extremely important to get out and not be alone. We must rejoin the flow of life and we can't do it alone.
