"I don't know and I don't care if there is a God.
- I'm not interested in religion or your Christian dogma...."
Are you someone who:
Maybe this is the other side of you:
Are you willing to stretch? Would you be willing to drop the unbelief - just enough to give your heart a chance to find the truth that it has silently always been looking for?
It is good to search, to inquire, to question and reason..... but God can never be found that way. Nor can love and happiness. And in the end, after spending most of your life trying to figure it all out, your heart probably remains as hungry as it ever was. The heart - the very soul of you - has a deep hunger all its own, to know a truth that finally sets it free.
We at St. Paul's, each in our own way, have come to know the reality of Jesus, and have been mightily changed and reoriented by His Word. And that's why we invite you to come and worship with us one Sunday so that you might get a sense of how the love of Jesus could touch your life. You will meet a Truth in Him that you really can know.
We hope that you will open your heart and mind to the possibility - even for a moment - that God Himself really did walk this earth 2000 years ago as Jesus and that Jesus really is very much alive and with us today... even right now.
If you can suspend your disbelief for the time it takes to say "Ok Jesus - help me with my unbelief - I want to know You" - you can open yourself to the wonder of His Spirit moving through your life.
We'd love to introduce you to the great promise of God: that He will love you like a father all the days of your life.... because He IS your Father and Creator. Through the experience of His personal touch - and through the words and grace of Jesus - you will find a kind of meaning, truth and knowledge that your heart will recognise with certainty and happily ask for more.
The experience of knowing Jesus will change you forever. And it will be a change that brings much joy.
We invite you to St. Paul's, confident that you'll be uplifted by God's word. It is important to fully understand what it means to be born anew. If that is fully understood and experienced, then it is vital to be a part of a smaller group where you can know and be known and gather for more in-depth spiritual growth, such as one of our life groups.
